Important Information RE: COVID-19

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, through the World Health Organisation (W.H.O) and the Australian Government Department of Health.

As the situation concerning COVID-19 continues to escalate around the world, you may have questions about the impact it could have on your studies, who you can turn to for help, and what we’re doing at AIB to minimise its risk. We hope to address any concerns you have below.

What we’re doing at AIB

It’s important to all of us at AIB that we’re responsible corporate citizens during this time. As a result, we’ve collectively made the decision that our onsite team in Adelaide (130 staff members) will work from home over the coming weeks, after which we’ll reassess the situation. It’s a preventative measure – we don’t have any staff who believe they may have been in contact with someone who has contracted the virus – but we’re doing our bit to minimise the spread and put the health of our people first, reflecting the public health authorities’ advice regarding social isolation and distancing.

What this means for your studies

As a digital business that delivers online education, we’re really well set up for this kind of arrangement, and we assure you that your learning experience will not be impacted by our staff working remotely – it’s business as usual! All subjects will continue to be delivered as planned, webinars will run as scheduled, and our faculty are all on hand to assist.
